Daniel Ticau

I'm currently studying mathematics and computer science at UC San Diego while researching LLM deception at the Rose Yu Spatiotemporal Learning Lab. I'm also scaling SDxUCSD, the university's premier builder-first technical community, and playing with robot autonomy at Triton Robotics.

I'm interested in thinking machines and their practical applications in our society, and believe in a world where artificial intelligence will bring us abundance.

Apart from my work, I enjoy practicing human movement mainly in the form of lifting, and have recently taken interest in Muay Thai, surfing, and bouldering. I also really love espresso and cooking.
